Musa Yali Batchilly diagnoses Honourable Mama Kandeh ‘betrayer’

In Gambisara Jimara, Musa Yali Batchilly, the former leader of the Gambia Action Party, highlighted the achievements the Barrow’s administration has made in a year and six months.

“Mr. President, you have tried. Since cutting ties with the UDP, you have made tremendous developments in the Gambia,” said Batchilly. ”You have brought ambulances, built bridges, constructed roads and schools in just 1 year 6 months.”

Mr. Batchilly furthered that it is clear that UDP was Barrow’s stumbling block. He noted that the leader of the UDP wanted Barrow’s throne even after freeing him from jail, appointing him as foreign minister and later vice president never stopped him from undermining his government.

Batchilly also took a swipe at his former colleague and party leader, Mama Kandeh, branding him a betrayer. 
“I have worked with Kandeh, but I can tell you that he is a betrayer. I know him very well; he is a betrayer, “said Batchilly. Mama Kandeh, the leader of the Gambia Democratic Congress, is also a son of Jimara: a region where the president held his latest meeting.

Chondi Dukureh, the youths leader in Gambisara Jimara, assured the president of victory in the highly anticipated election in December.

“What President Barrow has done in four years is clear for all to see, and this is just the beginning. For him to continue that work, we will have to fill his ballot box to the fullest in December,” the youth leader stated.
