Nema Su Central Clinches Bafulato Knock-out Trophy in Dramatic Style

Nema Su Central Football Club secured victory in the Bafulato Nema Su Knock-out Trophy final, delivering a thrilling match against Tah-Bi FC at the Nema Su football field. The sizable crowd, including Chief Guest of Honour Honorable Momodou Sabally, witnessed a tense competition.

Tah-Bi initially dominated the match, with Modou Lamin Conteh coming close to scoring, only to be denied by Nema Su FC’s goalkeeper Sheikh Joof. Kebba Manka, Ablie Manka, and Baseedy Camara all had opportunities for Tah-Bi, but the first half ended with a 0-0 scoreline.

The second half saw a resurgence from Nema Su Central, led by the formidable trio of Muhammed Bah, Malick Gaye, and Babolong Bojang. As spectators anticipated a penalty shootout, Muhammed Bah’s last-minute goal in the 91st minute sparked wild celebrations among Nema Su Central fans.

Despite the late effort, Tah-Bi couldn’t mount a comeback as the match ended 1-0 to Nema Su FC. Nema Su Central Football Club claimed the trophy and a cash prize of ten thousand Dalasis, while Tah-Bi FC went home with five thousand Dalasis as runners-up. The trophy was presented to Nema Su captain Malick Gaye by the Guest of Honour, Momodou Sabally.
