The ECOWAS head of mission, Her Excellency Miatta Lily French, applauded the “smooth relations” Ghana’s troops have fostered with communities in the North Bank Region. She urged continued teamwork between ECOMIG and local security forces.

A Barra resident, Ramou Ndow, praised ECOMIG’s positive impacts through community initiatives in education, health and social welfare.
